Our firm is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and highly skilled Permanent Trial Attorney with a focus on Insurance Defense. This position is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is eager to take on new challenges, and is passionate about providing exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in representing insurance companies in a variety of defense matters, ranging from auto accidents and personal injury to general liability and construction defects.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in a wide range of insurance defense matters, including but not limited to, auto accidents, personal injury, general liability, traumatic brain injury, dog bites, construction defects, and habitability issues.
  • Manage all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, trial preparation, and trial proceedings.
  • Develop and implement defense strategies, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in court to achieve optimal results.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights, obligations, and legal options.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends related to insurance defense, and use this knowledge to provide effective representation and advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and effective defense strategy.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on case progress, and ensure that all client communications are responded to in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a trial attorney, with a focus on insurance defense.
  • Proven experience in handling a variety of insurance defense cases, including auto accidents, personal injury, general liability, traumatic brain injury, dog bites, construction defects, and habitability issues.
  • Strong litigation skills, including experience in discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial proceedings.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving favorable settlements for clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective defense strategies and provide sound legal advice.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity.
