As a Product Category Manager, this individual will be responsible for managing the P&L, marketing activities, and creative messaging and value proposition to continue to build the AGCO Parts brand of key product categories. This role will be vital in supporting the field After sales managers in its promotion and execution of key activities to the AGCO dealer network across North America. Additionally, this role will be responsible for program and promotions planning and development aimed at strengthening AGCO’s aftersales support throughout the lifecycle of machine ownership and collaborate with the Fendt Brand and Massey Ferguson Brand 

Your Impact 

  • Collaborate with the Sales department to develop programs and initiatives that target growth within managed preventative maintenance categories and ensure completeness of portfolio, product quality, supplier alignment and pricing competitiveness along with performance of assigned categories.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product reference material that is both dealer and end-user facing. In addition, maintain and organize product data including key specifications, marketing support material, and competitive comparisons.

  • Create best in class marketing support collateral for dealer and retail channels in including training materials on product differentiation and capabilities, along messaging that showcases key product features and benefits.

  • Analyze product performance and report out on opportunities, risks, and key activities that will drive category sales and engagement. Manage the Go-to-Market marketing strategy for new product launches. Budget and manage tactical budget for planned commercial activities.

  • Team Player and actively contributes in completing tasks, meeting goals or managing projects. Aims to listen to their coworkers, respect ideas and aim to improve the Parts Division and processes at hand. 

Your Experience and Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Field

  • Strong project management, time management, Interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to see the big picture and focus on achieving tactical results. Proven history of developing both top-line and bottom-line results.

  • Experience in developing marketing programs and go-to-market strategies. High degree of business acumen. Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple business functions. Sales and performance analytical skills.

  • Ability to take Data Driven Decisions. Knowledge of agricultural practices, trends, and regulations. High degree of organization and time management. Capacity to work independently.

  • Creative thinker with an analytical mind. Ability to develop and implement tactical plans. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Your Compensation

This position will be within the range of $72,000 - $147381, based on experience. This position is eligible for a sales incentive plan and bonus based on 10% of compensation
