About the Role
As a Sales Coordinator, you'll act as the bridge between sales, operations, and purchasing/logistics teams. Your role will involve managing inventory, coordinating product launches, supporting the sales team, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. There's plenty of room for creativity, problem-solving, and growth in this position!
What You'll Do:
Inventory Management - Monitor stock levels, track purchase orders, and help reduce shortages or expiration issues.
Sales Support - Assist with product launches, coordinate vendor samples, and help drive sales on perishable and non-perishable items.
Team Collaboration - Work closely with marketing and sales to introduce new products and support initiatives.
Customer & Sales Team Assistance - Answer questions about pricing, inventory, and delivery estimates.
Process Improvement - Help refine internal processes and contribute to team training.
Backup Support - Step in for inside or outside sales associates as needed, including vacation coverage.
What We're Looking For:
Based in Greater Seattle - this is an in-office position.
Experience in foodservice, purchasing, or sales support is a plus!
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
Knowledge of foodservice and retail customer needs.
Ability to work well with multiple departments and handle multiple tasks.
Willingness to travel occasionally (5-10%) while primarily working in-office.
A self-starter with strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and leadership potential.
