A dynamic company is looking for a skilled Cost Accountant to join their team! In this role, you'll play an integral part in tracking and analyzing cost data, offering valuable insights to help the organization optimize operations and improve profitability. If you have strong analytical skills and a passion for detail, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Analyze and monitor costs of production and operations, reporting on financial performance.
+ Prepare and maintain accurate records of inventory, labor, and material costs.
+ Develop and implement standard costing methods and controls to ensure efficiency.
+ Perform variance analysis and recommend cost-saving strategies where applicable.
+ Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support decision-making through cost analysis.
Requirements
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
+ Experience: 1-3 years of cost accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing, construction, or related industries.
+ Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is preferred.
+ Attributes: Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a strong ability to communicate financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
