Clinical Trials Nurse - GI Medicine
Exciting Opportunity at MSK:
For a Clinical Trials Nurse at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center's with GI Medicine. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with a dedicated clinical research team, providing direct nursing care, conducting patient and study assessments, and offering education and support to patients and their families.
Role Overview:
Work within Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model
Facilitate the accrual of appropriate patients to clinical trials.
Coordinate patient care activities and conduct studies for patients enrolled in clinical trials.
Educate patients and their families regarding clinical trials in general and the specifics of the proposed clinical trial.
Provide as an integral member of the clinical research team to research study participants' direct nursing care, patient and study assessments, education, and patient/ family support.
Collaborate with the principal investigator to review new protocols from a nursing perspective and participate in a multidisciplinary discussion for approval.
Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care to patients throughout various stages of treatment on protocol and follow-up.
Key Qualifications:
New York State RN license and BSN
Three years clinical Nursing experience
Oncology nursing experience preferred
Clinical research nursing experience preferred, but not vital
Proficiency with clinical and office software (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)
BCLS

Hours: Full-time- Four x 10 hour days flexed Monday - Friday

Pay Range:
$110,700.00-$177,100.00
