LaSalle Network is partnering with a company located in Dallas, TX to find a  Billing Specialist to join their team.

The Billing Specialist will be responsible for accurately processing and documenting financial transactions, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring that invoices are delivered in a timely manner. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy.

Billing Specialist Responsibilities:

• Generate and process customer invoices in accordance with company policies and client agreements
• Review and verify billing data for accuracy, including rates, quantities and any discounts or promotions
• Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on outstanding invoices
• Work with clients to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes and negotiate payment plans when necessary
• Maintain accurate and organized billing records, ensuring that documentation is complete and readily accessible for auditing purposes
• Respond to client inquiries related to billing and invoicing in a professional and customer-focused manner
• Provide exceptional customer service while addressing billing concerns and questions
• Collaborate with the sales, customer service and accounts receivable teams to resolve billing issues and improve processes
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on billing activities, collections, and outstanding balances to the finance department
• Ensure compliance with all relevant billing and financial regulations and standards

Billing Specialist Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or higher in finance or related field is a plus
• Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role
• Proficiency in billing software and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory standards
